We bring history alive by recreating scenes from the past. This is called Living History and for our visitors it is like being in a film where you can actually interact with the cast.
We have regular get-togethers where we socialise and make and mend our clothing and equipment.

Our events are often at historic locations such as castles, manor houses and in picturesque villages.
We cook food to original Jacobean recipes using the authentic methods, ingredients and equipment.
Preparing and eating Jacobean food is an excellent way of demonstrating how people used to live and also the differences between the lives of the 'haves' and the 'have-nots'.
Not only do we demonstrate how people fought and sadly died, we also show how people lived their lives and got on with the everyday minutiae.
We show how clothes were made and mended, how meals were eaten – this was a great ostentatious display for the wealthy and how the sick were treated.
